I agree with LizTaylor. I know this is an old post but if anyone new is reading. What had worked for me is my history, for both my ADD and pain, seeing that I’ve been prescribed certain drugs in the past makes them more likely to prescribe again. Also, it’s important to include that you are working on other methods like accupuncture, PT, mindfulness, all the natural buzzwords these days. They don’t want you to use it as the only crutch, more of a last resort to supplement your other methods
