Default Boston Neurologist is an actual empath, Mass General

So many of us have voiced our frustrations with trying to get doctors to understand and acknowledge our pain. Some of you may have heard of synesthesia and this neurologist has it which allows him to physically feel what his patients feel. I've been fascinated with this condition and plan to read his book but I can't imagine being around people who are hurting so much and feeling their pain.

I'm glad you found a sympathetic doctor, or should I say synesthetic? lol, when he says I feel your pain you will believe him unlike when a politician says it. Hopefully it will make him treat you like a person instead of a pest trying to get pk's.

@Gullible...alas, I am not a patient of his - I only have read about him yet I would love to be one of his patients! I call my current neurologist the Ice Bitch. She has about as much empathy as a rock although I do find some rocks very soothing. I do plan to read his book because I can't imagine how he can handle being an empath with the types of medical issues he deals with.
