My kid has been diagnosed with ADD at 7. And, we put him on 10mg of Novartis Ritalin LA. Doc says it gives both an instant release, plus long acting all in one capsule. But its $100+ per 30 days, even after insurance. The generic, with my plan, would be $5. Can anyone provide feedback about this? I love him so I will pay the $100. How do you guys feel about the generics? I don't know that much about speed, but I do know that good speed is wonderful while bad speed is awful. Like awful sweating, tense muscles in my head and neck getting sore, and aggressive. Is there such a difference in the generics? Or am I being a pill snob?
