Default How to spot fake diazepam or klonopin

Diazepam and kloonopin dissolve in whole milk.
I once received some pills (years ago, not from a source on here) that were touted as diazepam, but they weren't as they did not dissolve in whole milk.
There are some brands of diazepam however, like Teva that leave sediment but this is just a filler)

I really doubt you could spot the 1 mg of klonopin in the milk. Since these benzos are almost all filler, wouldnt the milk trick only allow you to know if the filler/ binder used was soluble or not? I dont really trust this method. I just dont understand what it proves. There will be probably be a little setiment in any pill dissolved in milk, no telling whether the active ingredient has dissolved or not.
If you've used a precise milligram scale before, you've seen how ridiculously small 1mg is. Barely visible.
Sorry, I dont see how this method could prove anything, besides how much milk insoluble filler a pill contains.
Ask me anything about classical guitar.

True Diaz and klon dissolve in whole milk.
Some brand, (I may be wrong on brand here) like Teva have sediment that stays, but the milk dissolves the actual benzo.
I did a taper using diazepam and milk, I started using steps, and when I got to 6mg, I used the daily milk method.
The stepped taper is like a jagged line plotted on a graph, but the daily milk taper is like a nice smooth curve, but it's important not to make the daily cuts too big, symptoms emerging are an indication of the cuts being too big.
That is just my perosnal way though, each to their own, everyone has a method that suits them best.

Question does putting it in milk to dissolve make it more potent? Never heard of dissolve in milk method.

The same is true for alcohol and proplyene glycol, but it still doesnt prove whether a pill is fake or not. Fake pills could be all glucose, easily dissolve and you wouldnt be able to tell the difference until you ingested them.
Trying what you think is a fake pill in water might be better, but still not reliable. Any benzo wont dissolve in water unless its something really novel like pyrazolam, but you still have 99.5% filler/binder to contend with.

That's the thing with fake drugs of any sort isn't it, when it comes down to it, you never know what you are dealing with.

I am curious why milk can be used for taper too. How does this work? Does the milk make it more potent or allows you to sort of break a pill up easier (i.e. Dissolve one pill in milk and drink a little each day?)

As far as I know, milk only dissolves klonopin and valium due to them being fat soluble. Unfotunately for cows, homogenized milk has to be used, not organic, as the fat globules in homogenised milk are distributed evenly, unlike organic. Whole full fat needs to be used to dissolve the valium/klonopin as there are not enough fat globules in semi skim or skim milk.
Milk doesn't affect the potency, it just acts as a vehicle for even distribution of the benzo, to allow for smaller cuts as cutting pills into tiny bits is unreliable and unstable for many people trying to come off benzos.
There is a well known site on the web devoted to benzo withdrawal, but while it is popular is is populated by people who use many different methods of tapering.
It is not run by medical experts, just people trying to help each other and share their experiences and it gives people opportunities to ask questions, but as I say, the members are not medically trained, its like a peer support group, and some who feel they have come off benzos successfully like to share their knowledge with others.
Its such a big site that I cannot give individual members names, and I generally visit to ask others experiences of tapers.
I am vegetarian and don't relish the idea of tapering using factory farmed cow's milk, and with organic milk being non homogenized and fat molecules being unevenly distributed, I am looking for a way to use vodka to titrate my dose, but there are so many different people with so many diffferent experiences it can be confusing.
I did use cows milk for my first taper as I was not vegetarian, for the last few mgs, and cut daily and it didn't hurt at all, but I did start hrt, which has progesterone in it, and as that is cross tolerant with benzos, the progesterone could have made it easier. That was years ago though.
