Skiff will become famous soon enough

    Default Hello from Doctor Skiff.

    Hello there,

My name is Skiff, I am a real Medical Doctor with over 40 years of experience. By pure accident I read someone’s post on the web, and it lead me to this interesting place. I obviously still maintain my license and I can practice medicine in 7 states, but I do it from home, hope you all heard of Telemedicine right? I cannot prescribe anything heavy like 1mg of Carfentanyl you know they might ask for X-rays you know hehe no don’t mess with Fentanyl it’s a potent very potent pain drug I can explain you how to spend 10 years in pain without feeling it and only be on current dose of what that god damn place recommend CDC? Yeah CDC! I hope their building catch on fire spams of butches, although in some states just few years ago I wrote scripts for Tramadol with 12 refills and the only warning I was giving was their NRI properties will Jake toubup if you use it for chronic pain. 72 hours of acute Opioid withdrawal is nothing especially with some Clonidine and Librium compared to absolutely no norepinephrine in your brain. Foggy life. So to all fans of Tramadol, it’s a great drug, but be careful and taper off. Ohh damn it it’s an introduction, each time i start talking about myself I go into advisory mode and try to heal you up. So correct me I am almost 65, so I have lived a great life being an MD from LA. I travelled to 100+ countries (Doctors without borders, Tourism, and I spent 20 years in the Navy. DoD paid for my education of course in the late 60s and early 70s cost for Medical School was opposite to you phone number, it was more like a PO Box, now I would love to be a porn star, but wife said I am not going to drive a Porsche and she won’t be my partner either hehe. Anyway I can’t believe the amount of questions people ask about pills. Hope you all over 40-50, or have war time PTSD since I don’t get it: lifebgotbso much better andbyet webhave to have SSRIs that destroy lives out there. I am telling you if you are 20!y.o. and you tell me you depressed I will tell you go pray God is your healer. If you tell me you were having sex with Susie andbfell of her than I might give you a script for Tylenol 3 2-3!weeks worth (BTW what’s wrong with prescribing opioids, I did it all my life. I probably wrote enough scripts for Oxycodone and Morphine, Levarphanol and Codeine than it took 10 years worth of entire Talliban’s share of opium, God damn it. If I could I will be prescribing it till this day over the phone and DEA threatened me so much than I had to call my brother he happen to be a smarter than me and became California Assembly Member, so after that phone call I finished 8 years of my practice pretty much operating like a pain clinic. I did UAd everyone and I did care only for one thing: if you doctor shop well take me off your list if you need something ask ME, and if you smoked weed I didn’t give a damn. The only reason you would be kicked out of my clinic if I will find heroin in your Urine morebthen 2 times with GS confirmation. That telling me that you not satisfied with me as a doctor and love your drug dealer more. Anyway I am done here. Love ya all it’s time to go to bed. Have wuaestions ask away. Need a Z-pack I can’t write you a script, but I can tell you what works better. Thanks for having me.

Hi @Skiff Welcome to the best forum on the web. I would like to hear your opinion about people who have serious deep anxiety issues and are refused any anti anxiety medication?
You don't have to answer that question if you don't want to.

    Wow!

Carfentanil is NOT approved for humans in the United States “ doctor “. I cannot possibly imagine any physician trained and/or practicing here in the United States that either knew what Carfentanil was, and the few who do would certainly know where, and on what species this very potent analogue is approved for use.

    Nevertheless, greetings and salutations.

Really? Even refused an SSRI? Most docs will hand out SSRIs like they are candy, whether they are needed or not and ignore the long term effects of being on them.

Wasn't Doctors Without Borders mentioned? I have no idea what the medication is nor am I inclined to Google it, but that could be a plausible explanation.

Veterinarians who treat large animals are more likely to be familiar with Carfentanil than any doctor for humans would be; it's been used in the U.S. since the mid 1980s as an animal tranquilizer, primarily for elephants.

Hi, and welcome, @Skiff, just remember that this forum is mainly (but not totally) oriented towards USA members... so comments and feedback about items not typically prescribed in the USA will draw some attention to your posts, but most of us will still want to hear from you, even as we weigh your input from our own perspective. In any case, thank you very much for your participation, hope you find this place to be helpful.

  13. Hi @Skiff , hope u r well. I too am a qualified physician. Semi retired now. I plied my trade in the USSR and then Lithuania when we gained independence. I’m now a permanent resident in the U.K. I still do consulting work for a couple of charities but nothing too strenuous haha!

Hey, my friend, sorry I wrote a large piece on what I would try, but my phone died and everything disappeared. So briefly: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other therapies from that group of psychotherapy. I will unfold my answer and start a thread, where I probably should. If CBT will not be as effective, hypnosis will be the second alternative. Thank you for the question.

@Tron28 I already get a medication that is mainly an antidepressant but has sedative properties in it which helps my anxiety.

@Skiff Thank you for the answer my friend.

@Skiff Hypnosis after CBT if the patient doesn't respond to CBT? That's absolutely ludicrous... SSRI in conjunction with CBT is the go to, and then cycling across every other SSRI/SNRI's and perhaps the odd TCA and engaging with a different psychologist or specialist counselor before considering referral to psychiatry.

Perhaps Reiki once the hypnosis doesn't work followed by a sacrifice to Odin after the Reiki?

Out of curiosity, where are you licensed to practice medicine?

Oh, and welcome, dr skiff. Don't take the above as a personal attack.. I intend to understand how a MD would recommend hypnosis and would love to be enlightened
