Default What kills me is the insert about dangerous medicines

I am currently on the blood pressure medicine Valsartan that has been recalled (due to the coating containing carcinogens) My son brought my unopened bottle to the pharmacy here in the US for a refund, which I was told to do. Luckily I had some old bottles of the same, different manufacturer, when I looked at where the manufacturer was --- it was INDIA, not the USA. Still waiting for Doctor to call pharmacy for a replacement. So it is dangerous for us to import, but the drug companies here do it.

    Yipes!

FWIW, yesterday I was shopping online for a bit of tech doohicky, and it had a big yellow carcinogen warning on the product page - bought it anyway. Not like I’m going to touch it any long that it takes to nail it up in the network closet.
