    Default Pill Identifier search page

If you have unknown pills lying around you could try to use our Pill Identifier search page to identify them.

Please note that it currently only contains data about US pills and tablets.

@EmilyPonds, just take it and see what it does. I'm just kidding, that is horrible advice. To my knowledge, no. But I am remarkably good at being wrong. I mean they can be referenced on what a particular pill "should" look like; shape, color, imprint, etc etc but even the counterfeits will look the same or very similar in most cases. Then there is what I like to call "partially counterfeit". The potency is off, either purposely or by reasons of expiration date and/or storage issues.

Darn, the link to identify doesn't work anymore.

Is there another, by any chance?

Where would you go to find pill identification on pills not manufactured in the US. I have small round dark green pills with no marking whatsoever. So Pill Identifier doesnt list these. Any ideas where to look would be greatly appreciated. I have a bunch of them and don't remember where they came from. Thanks in advance for any info.

Google is a good source for identifying pills.
Just put in as much of a description as you can.

A pill with no marking whatsoever will definitely be more difficult. But try putting in what you wrote: "small round dark green pills with no marking".
Is it scored on one side?
    Any information helps.
    Good luck.

P.S. Switch back and forth from "web view" to "image view" to see if it shows on one or the other.

The imprint is for Xanax but according to my google search and many pill indentifier sites, it doesn't come in Orange. Where did you get them from? If you purchased these from a vendor I would say they are counterfeit

    @Quixotic
I couldn't find it either. They have white, green and yellow and the yellow is solid light yellow, not orangy yellow.
I searched through about 20 pages of images and the only orange bar I found was bromazepam but there was no imprint.

If the vendor is in the open forum, it may be helpful if you posted this in their thread as they are most likely counterfeit as @Alicenwonderland said.

I see you're new here so just a few tidbits--
    - Benzos are commonly faked especially from locations such as India and some surrounding/nearby places. PK's even moreso.
    - Before you make your next purchase, try to find a vendor with a good reputation. Generally that means an active thread here in this forum with
recent posts of people receiving good product.
    - If there is no thread here for a vendor you find on Google, move on.
    - If you find a vendor here and their thread has had little to no activity, particularly no recent activity, move on.

Hang around for a while, spend some time in the off topic threads to get your post and reputation counts and by this time next month, you may find some other more reliable options in the senior section. If your needs are urgent, or you are in danger of running out of your medicine, please see a physician. From what I hear, xanax withdrawl is pretty bad.

Well, seeing that this is NOT an American forum but an INTERNATIONAL one, your friend Zaborav takes this as some kind of a challenge and will spend a lot of time uploading pics to my albums here; I also note that around half of the IOPs mentioned on the forum originate in Europe, where the anal retentive marking rules of the USFDA don't apply, but there are so many questions about what certain (very well-known, even) brands and generics should look like from US residents that it is exceedingly important that I give them some sort of a frame of reference...
LOOK OUT, PR - ZABORAV IMAGES ARE GOING TO BEGIN TO APPEAR ALL OVER THE PLACE! I SUBMIT A LOT OF MY UK & EURO IMAGES (under a different name) TO A WELL KNOWN SITE WHICH CARRIES A LARGE PHOTO DATABASE AS WELL AS A GENERAL FORUM (NO SOURCES, QUESTIONS ABOUT PHARMACOLOGY, IDENTIFICATION AND OTHER MATTERS)...
Aw hell, I may as well tell you, it's pharmer.org! Let's make PR a place members can find out what they need to know without resort to another site!
Like I said, your wording just motivated me...

Zaborav, That would be great if you could help us all out by uploading photos of non-US pills for reference. I will have to talk to you about how we can make all the information easily searchable. Thank you for your help.

Not a problem, @drboris; I have done much worse, having at one time been moderator and I/c blacklist at RxOPF and mod at medswap.com, which I have mentioned is a kind of service that no longer exists but for which there is a definite need.
Compiling photo ID (if I can find my way around the upload system, have had a few boo-boos so far!) should by comparison be a piece of cake, if there were some way of compressing the jpegs which are often exceeding the ljmits given in the instructions which come on the 'My Images' page...

Is it the height and width size the jpegs exceed or the file size? I have increased the max file size setting a little in case it is that.

If you use Windows you could try installing this tool and batch resize all your pill photos before uploading them: http://www.bricelam.net/ImageResizer/

Go to Google and find a pill identifier. If it is from another country (not made in the USA) you may not find it. I have an idea what it is but I really can guess at this. Good luck. M
