Expiration Dates on meds

I know this is a long thread but I still use meds past expiration, way past expiration. I have Tamiflu stocked from 2005. Now I do not plan to take it ever probably but I can't get my self to throw it out in case we have a pandemic, oh wait, we have a pandemic, lol

As others have said it all depends on how they have been stored.
Depending on the type of medication, light can sometimes be much worse than heat.

I can definitely confirm, most capules and tablets I have used; all can easily go well beyond their listed expiration. In particular when you have an individual blister pack. It is not too difficult, just keeping them at a fairly steady temperature is not too hard, and keeping them in darkness is a pretty simple matter. I am amazed at how long they can last; easily ten years beyond stamped.

Mostly I've only learned this because I was afraid I would not easily have a further supply. I'm glad I tried this.

yep what you say I certainly agree that meds last well beyond the expire date....and yes of course it depends on how they were stored, @TheDeadlySidekick
